Moraima Alfonso Bio

Moraima Alfonso is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA ), located in Miami, Florida. She began her mental health career in 2004, as an Addiction Counselor. As time passed, she saw herself working with the pediatric population which motivated her to transition to behavioral health. In 2014, she was devoted to help children with autism and behavioral disorders as a Registered Behavior Technician. Five years later, her efforts in behavioral medicine became a huge success and she obtained certifications as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She then, joined Health of Mind. She states that, her favorite part about working for Health of Mind is the sense of community. There is always someone willing to help out. They care about the families in need and work competently to help children move forward. She feels supported in her career with resources and opportunity for constant growth.
