Johanna M Britton, MS, BCBA is a bilingual Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and has a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with over 10 years of experience in the field of behavior analysis. She obtained her first bachelor’s (2006) with a dual track in Marketing and International Business at Facultad de Contaduria y Administracion (FCA) in Merida, Mex., and later in 2012, obtained her second B. S in Psychology, at Florida International University. Johanna pursued further training and graduated with a master’s in science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida International University in 2017. In 2014, she became a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, and in 2018, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Johanna is passionate about training technicians and caregivers on implementing plans to teach language and reducing problematic behaviors by teaching more functional replacement behaviors. Her training methods include the implementation of Discrete Trial Training (DTT) /Discrete Trial Instruction (DTI), Natural Environment Training (NET), Verbal Behavior, Errorless training/ error correction procedures, shaping, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECs) training, and implementation of Behavior skill Training as a main method for training caregivers and technicians to improve the lives of the client’s she serves.
